The Art and Science of Setting Question Papers & Differentiated Learning at Amber Valley Residential School, Karnataka (29 May 2026)

Teacher360 facilitated a professional learning programme for the educators of Amber Valley Residential School, led by Mr G. Balasubramanian, Veteran Educator, Mentor, Author, and Former Director (Academics), CBSE.

The programme featured two insightful sessions, The Art and Science of Setting Question Papers and Differentiated Learning, designed to strengthen assessment practices and equip educators with practical strategies for creating more inclusive, learner-centred classrooms.

The sessions explored the principles of designing meaningful question papers that assess conceptual understanding, critical thinking, application, and problem-solving beyond rote recall. Educators also reflected on differentiated instructional approaches that address the diverse learning needs, abilities, and interests of students, enabling greater engagement and improved learning outcomes.

The interaction encouraged educators to view assessment as an integral part of the learning process, adopt responsive teaching practices, and create classrooms where every learner is supported, challenged, and empowered to realise their full potential.
