The Art & Science of Questioning Workshop at National Hill View Public School & Appollo National Public School, Karnataka (Feb 2026)

Teacher360 conducted a workshop on The Art and Science of Questioning across National Hill View Public School (Unit 1 & Unit 2) and Appollo National Public School, facilitated by eminent educator Mr. G. Balasubramanian.

The session explored the purpose and power of questioning in education, drawing from philosophical and pedagogical frameworks. It highlighted how effective questioning goes beyond classroom practice to become the foundation of critical thinking and deeper learning. Educators engaged with strategies to design meaningful questions aligning them with learning objectives, moving from recall to higher-order thinking, and ensuring clarity, context, and purpose. 

A key takeaway from the session was that a question is not just asked, it is designed, making it a deliberate and powerful tool for inquiry and learning.

The workshop reinforced the idea that the quality of education is closely linked to the quality of questions we ask, and that nurturing this skill is essential for building thinking classrooms.
