Teacher360 successfully conducted a five-day online workshop on Aspiring Leaders, bringing together educators and emerging school leaders to engage with the evolving demands of leadership in education.
Day 1, led by Mr. G. Balasubramanian, focused on Changing Dynamics of School Leadership, highlighting the shift from conventional administration to transformative leadership. The session emphasised adapting to a rapidly changing knowledge ecosystem, embracing disruption as a constant, and rethinking traditional structures of schooling. Leaders were encouraged to build future-ready mindsets, foster resilience, and move from managing systems to enabling meaningful change.
Day 2, facilitated by Ms. Jayashree Krishna, explored Leading Learning – Not Just Schools, emphasising human-centred, inclusive, and collaborative leadership. The session highlighted the importance of building trust, empowering stakeholder voices, and creating learner-centric environments through reflection, data, and community engagement.
Day 3, led by Dr. Atul Nischal, focused on Competency-Based Learning, reinforcing the shift towards mastery-driven, student-centric approaches aligned with NEP 2020. The discussion covered student agency, personalised learning pathways, and the importance of continuous, meaningful assessment, along with practical strategies for phased and sustainable implementation.
Day 4, by Mr. Giri Balasubramaniam (Pickbrain), addressed What Should Not Be Done as a Leader, encouraging leaders to reflect on common pitfalls such as resistance to change, ego-driven decisions, and over-dependence on past success. The session highlighted the need for self-awareness, strategic clarity, and the courage to unlearn and adapt in dynamic environments.
Day 5, facilitated by Dr. Nagamani Nagaraja, focused on Pedagogical Leadership, emphasising its role in driving instructional excellence and school culture. The session explored collaboration, data-informed decision-making, and structured planning, equipping leaders with tools to design and implement continuous improvement strategies within their institutions.
Across the workshop, a key message emerged: leadership today requires clarity, empathy, adaptability, and the ability to translate vision into meaningful action within schools.
