Teacher360 conducted a professional learning session on Building Learning Cultures for the educators of Thaamarai World School, Coimbatore, facilitated by Ms. Jayashree Krishna.
The session explored how classrooms and schools function not merely as instructional spaces, but as environments that shape thinking, engagement, belonging, and institutional culture. Discussions focused on classroom practices, Bloom’s Taxonomy, learning objectives, pedagogy, and the vision of NEP 2020.
A key focus of the engagement was on designing learning experiences that move beyond content delivery towards inquiry, application, reflection, and student agency. The session also highlighted the importance of competency-based approaches, inclusive learning environments, and intentional classroom practices. Educators participated in reflective activities and collaborative discussions around school culture, foundational learning, assessment reform, multilingualism, and teacher development.
