Teacher360 successfully conducted the three-day professional development workshop, The Pursuit of Teacher Excellence, facilitated by Mr G. Balasubramanian, bringing together teachers and school leaders from across India to strengthen professional identity, classroom effectiveness, and communication skills in an evolving educational landscape.
Day 1 focused on The Ideal Teacher, encouraging participants to reflect on the evolving role of teachers and the habits, mindsets, and professional values that define excellence in contemporary classrooms.
Day 2 explored Effective Classroom Management, examining how purposeful planning, positive relationships, learner engagement, and effective classroom practices contribute to creating safe, inclusive, and productive learning environments.
Day 3 centred on Verbal and Non Verbal Communication in Classrooms, highlighting the importance of effective verbal and non-verbal communication, active listening, empathy, questioning, and constructive feedback in building trust, strengthening classroom interactions, and enhancing student learning.
Across the three days, participants reflected on what it means to be an effective educator in today's rapidly evolving educational landscape, from developing a strong professional identity and creating engaging learning environments to communicating with purpose and empathy. The workshop reaffirmed that excellence in teaching is a continuous journey of reflection, adaptation, and lifelong learning, empowering educators to create classrooms where every learner feels valued, inspired, and equipped to thrive.
