As part of Teacher360 Celebrates the Teacher 2026, Teacher360 presented Point & Counterpoint, an inaugural inter-school teacher debate that brought educators from five schools together for an evening of ideas, dialogue, creativity and celebration.
The debate explored the thought-provoking topic: 'Human Intelligence, not Digital Intelligence, is the call for the future in school education.'
The participating schools were:
- National Hill View Public School, Banashankari
- National Hill View Public School, RR Nagar
- Amber Valley Residential School, Chikmagalur
- DKS Hill View Public School, Kanakapura
- Appollo National Public School
The debate featured thoughtful arguments, engaging counterpoints and diverse perspectives, reflecting the experience and insight that educators bring to conversations about the future of education.
The debate was followed by music and dance performances by teachers from all five participating schools, with each school bringing its own talent and creative expression to the celebration.
The debate was evaluated by Dr. Uma Sivaraman, Distinguished Educationist, Academic Leader and Former Deputy Commissioner, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan; Ms. Kokila Amarnath, Educator, English Language Enthusiast and Public Speaking Mentor; and Professor Simon, Seasoned Media Professional and Academic Leader.
The programme provided educators with a platform to step beyond their everyday classroom roles and engage as thinkers, communicators, performers and lifelong learners.
Point & Counterpoint brought together debate, dialogue, music and dance in a celebration of the many dimensions of the teaching profession.
