Known for her learner-friendly and innovative teaching practices, Ms Jayasree Ravishankar has spent over three decades in school education, making learning simple, engaging, and meaningful for students. Her work reflects a deep commitment to academic excellence, student development, and progressive classroom practices.
She served as the Head of the Mathematics Department and later as the Head of Senior School at St. Mary’s School, Safdarjung Enclave, New Delhi. Over the years, she has mentored student teams on mathematics projects that received international recognition and awards.
She was part of the UK-India Educational Research Initiative (UKIERI) Programme and visited schools in Manchester, UK, gaining exposure to global educational practices and collaborative learning environments.
She has also authored mathematics textbooks for classes I to V, contributing meaningfully to foundational learning and curriculum development.
