When family members speak or interact with a child, their tone of voice, body language, and demeanor should foster a sense of trust and security. Harsh or scolding tones and the accompanying fluctuations in voice can deeply affect a child's inner self. Even if they do not fully grasp the meaning of harsh words, they often understand the underlying intent behind them. During conversations, children keenly observe the body language of those around them. Body language often makes a stronger impression than spoken words.
Behaviors such as gesturing aggressively, pointing fingers at the child, adopting a look of indifference or disdain, or displaying anger and hostility in one's gaze should be strictly avoided. Typically, when children begin to play, they often start with games like "Mom and Dad." Later, they engage in role-play scenarios such as "teacher and student." In this way, they act out specific concepts at every stage of life, behaviors that are all learned from their surroundings. The influence of these environments can be either constructive or harmful; therefore, it is the responsibility of every family member to ensure that the path of a child's development fosters mental well-being.
